Is there a market for BC oil and gas?

- oil has a global market with internationally driven prices

- production of oil in the US is expected to drop in the future while world demand continues to rise, especially in the US, the Middle East, the former Soviet Union, China and the developing countries in the Pacific Rim

Gas

- there is a high demand for natural gas in Asia, however any gas produced in BC would likely stay in North America

- the gas would likely be exported to Chigago or California

- gas prices would likely be driven on a more local scale
