Boss Power Lawsuit Against Province of B.C. will Proceed to Trial

Vancouver, B.C. - Thursday, January 27th, 2011: Boss Power Corp. (TSX.V: BPU) reports that lawsuit against the Province of British Columbia with regard to the Blizzard Uranium Property will proceed to trial in British Columbia Supreme Court October 3rd, 2011. Twenty-four days have been set aside for the trial.

On October 16th, 2008, the Company filed a statement of claim alleging that the Province had, by imposing a Uranium and Thorium Reserve under the Mineral Tenure Act, prevented the company from exploring for or producing uranium or thorium from the Blizzard Uranium Property and that the Province had expropriated the Company's interest in the Property. The Company has added an additional claim against the Province for Misfeasance in Public Office premised upon the refusal by the Province to process the Company's Notice of Work applications for a diamond drill program which may have then warranted application being made to federal authorities for the development of a mine on the Blizzard site.

The Province has admitted in court filings made on December 20th, 2010 that certain senior officials in the former Ministry of Energy Mines and Petroleum Resources did in fact unlawfully interfere with the statutory authority of the Chief Inspector of Mines by ordering him not to consider the Boss Power Corp. application for permits and that approval for the work was not to be granted.

Boss Power Corp.'s President and CEO Randy Rogers noted: "The presentation of the evidence we have gathered in support of the new cause of action and documents yet to be produced by the Province concerning the admitted misconduct will require a longer trial than originally contemplated. The new trial date will allow the Company to fully present our claims for compensation and damages suffered by the Company from both the expropriation of the Blizzard Uranium Property in 2008 and the conduct of the Province in interfering with our exploration permit application ."
